Latest News: The LMR software is now aware of the difference between Exclusive, Shared and Simplex channels, and will act differently for each channel type. There is now a North and South Island version. You can now also view the log in realtime without having to stop the software.

LMR Training software is a LMR on a PC. This system simulates the actions of a NZ Fire Service LMR.

The system can be used as stand alone for a user to practice submitting K codes, changing channels etc or with an instructor who can provide practice in voice messages as well.

The system handles:

Pump K Codes including arrival codes

Channels and Regions

Routine and Priority messages
and can be run in normal mode (where the user will be "turned out") or "free form" where the user will be left to submit K Codes freely

At the end of each session a report is generated showing all actions for review

The LMR training software will run on any P150 system or better with 32mb RAM, a soundcard, and Windows 95. Optimal performance needs a 350Mhz system with 64Mb RAM and Windows 98 2nd Edition / Windows ME / Windows 2000 / Windows XP Home / Windows XP Pro The LMR trainer has been tested on all listed systems.
