Shot from Sugarloaf the clouds over Napier look quite ominous. Again scouting out some angles to shoot in better light. I’ll have to factor in some recovery time after I’ve hauled myself to the top next trip.

In the early hours of this morning an arson attack on a vacant house resulted in a spectacular 3rd alarm fire attended by Napier, Hastings, and Taradale brigades.

Napier, Hastings and Taradale brigades responded to a third alarm helicopter crash on Monday and had trouble getting to the scene. A bridge prevented appliances from reaching the scene so cars and quad bikes were used to transport gear.
